The spark of American creativity in narrative writing was sparked by what was known as colonial literature at the beginning of the seventeenth century. Critics consider the literature of America an extension of the literature of England. While the diaspora writers monitored more than 150 influential American writers over 4 centuries, they moved from documenting colonial literature to caring for the humanization project through theories in which the artistic and intellectual intersected with the philosophical theorists and transferred their creativity to Arabic through works translated into Arabic, articles and lectures. American literature began with a humble beginning, like other literatures, but it soon took its position among the first literatures in the world. To turn from colonialism to the glorification of ideals, qualities of self-reliance and independence, respect for man, emphasis on democracy, love of nature and departure from literary traditions for the sake of every new creativity.
The critic, Dr. Saad Al-Bazei, confirms that American literature is global literature in terms of its importance and in terms of its spread. He promised him an influential literature in various literatures, including Arabic literature, which knew American creators since the early period of the Arab renaissance through immigrant writers and through the movement of advanced translation that conveyed all the arts, criticism and cultural movement of American literature.
