A 2-year-old child was injured in a drive-by shooting in Des Moines, reports say.
Officials responded to the 800 block of Southeast McKinley Avenue at about 8:30 p.m. on a shots fired report. And located the toddler suffering from gunshot injuries to the leg. It was disclosed what led to the shooting and if the incident too place in the minor’s home, according to Des Moines police.
Detectives say the toddler was transported to the hospital in stable condition. This is an active investigation. No possible suspect information were immediately give.
