Westerners return at the end of each calendar year to the book of predictions of the French astronomer Michel Nostrdamus, whose predictions about the future still mean something to Westerners, nearly 500 years after his death during the 16th century. Nostradamus left his predictions in a book containing 942 poetic quatrains. His book of predictions was published in 1555, 10 years after his death. Although many do not believe in what astrologers say; Century after century, however, the speculations of Nostradamus have aroused interest. Among the most prominent of these is his expectation of a bloody regime in Europe led by Adolf Hitler, the arrival of man to the moon via the Apollo 11 ship, and the outbreak of corona in 2019. The book of Nostradamus indicates that the year 2023 will witness the arrival of man to Mars. He also predicted the election of a new pope for the Catholics, after the current Pope Francis retired due to his advanced age. The predictions of Nostradamus include the outbreak of a war that will last 7 months. Interpreters said it was World War III, while others saw it as a reference to the Ukraine war, or perhaps a war waged by China to annex Taiwan to its borders. Nostradamus also speculated that the year 2023 would witness the detonation of a nuclear bomb, which he said would have an impact on the planet that could last for 40 years.
