Gary Taccone Death – Cause Of Death: 24-year veteran of the Erie Police Department Detective Sergeant Gary Taccone has died unexpectedly on Wednesday 3rd November 2021 at the age of 52 from complications related to COVID-19 at his home, surrounded by family and loved ones.
According to the article released by the Erie Police Department, Pennsylvania, Gary worked for the Erie police for 24 years. He joined the police force on September 8 in the year 1997. He served the force in different areas like a patrol officer, field training officer, motorcycle patrolman, and detective in property and evidence. He worked as a Sergeant in charge of property and evidence before his sudden demise.
He was given a Medal of Honor from the Euclid Ohio Police Department for trying to save a victim involved in an accident that took place on the highway in Euclid Ohio. He was a dedicated officer who came all he had to for the safety of the people of Erie. He was a very friendly person always very jovial and cheerful. He will be missed by the entirety of the Erie Police force.

We as a family are grateful for the love and respect that Gary shared with us. We will truly miss him. This loss is unreal at the moment. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Gary, his son, his many brothers and sisters of law enforcement, and his remaining family.
