A 28-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot multiple times outside a hookah lounge in Philadelphia’s Center City, reports say.
The incident happened at about 1:10 a.m. in 12th and Spruce Streets Monday. Officials say the incident stemmed up from an argument inside Cloud Factory Hookah Lounge at about closing time.
Responding officers located a male victim suffering from gunshot injuries. He was transported to the hospital, where he is listed in a critical condition. Another male, 25, sustained gunshot wounds to the leg, but arrived the Pennsylvania Hospital for treatments.
Officials say a third man sustained injuries as he tried to separate the physical confrontation. The unknown male has been transported to the hospital in a stable condition. Detectives found about 12 shell casings on the sidewalk and in front of the Hookah lounge. A gun was also found at the scene and a person of interest was taken into custody.
Investigation is active.
