Over the course of 9 years of my participation in the “Okaz” pilgrimage missions, I expected excellence for the mission before it was launched. For the cooperation that we find among the members of the mission, the familiarity and love, from the president to the office worker, even if the roles differed, and the tasks diversified, the support for each other in the field and the harmony between them was the factor of success.. In Hajj 1439, experience put me in the crosshairs of the head of the mission, Ziyad Al-Enezi, who assigned me With four missions, it was the real test of reconciling field work, even if it cost me to walk more than 6 kilometers a day on foot, and following up on colleagues to facilitate their movements by identifying the closest routes to the locations they wanted to reach, and coordinating with motorcyclists to reach them and return them. . While the most difficult task was securing meals and ensuring that they arrived at the right time upon their return to the mission headquarters amid convoys of cars and their different demands and tastes, until I began to ask my colleague Yasser Abdel Fattah for the meal he wanted to eat because he needed “special food.”
I was in the field moving between the pilgrims in their various locations and on their roads. I am proud that I am one of the sons of Saudi Arabia. I am honored to serve the guests of Rahman like other sons and daughters of the homeland, when I saw and heard of the services provided to the guests of Rahman and between free care and between volunteers and benefactors, they are generous with all that God has given them. Well, I am even certain that the pilgrim does not have to buy water, meals, and various juices. Even “ice cream” was distributed to them on the roads.. And what I heard of the pilgrims’ calls to lead and the people of this country made me proud that God endowed this country with a wise leadership that made the service of the guests of God and those who come to His house The forbidden in Hajj and Umrah are the first concerns. The mission ended and the pilgrimage succeeded, and “Okaz” was distinguished by the testimony of others. The credit for this distinction and creativity remains for the colleagues in the “Okaz” mission, the editor-in-chief and colleagues in the main office, and we promise you that excellence will continue and we will meet next year.
