One killed, one hospitalized in Skagit County two-vehicle accident

Lyman WA. – At least one person has died and another injured following a fatal two-vehicle collision on Highway 20 in Skagit County. The police identified the deceased as a 43-year-old Sedro-Woolley man, his name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

On Wednesday morning, November 17, 2021, a pick-up driven by a 59-year-old Concrete man named Keith Taxdahl was heading west near the town of Lyman when he veered to the center line and run into an eastbound vehicle driven by the Sedro-Woolley man.

The police received calls and dispatched troopers to the scene of the accident. Upon their arrival, they pronounced the Sedro-Woolley mand dead. He was said to have sustained fatal injuries from the accident. Taxdahl got serious injuries and was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
