The 48 hours that US President Donald Trump spent in Saudi Arabia were enough to be the most prominent hours in the world, and drew the attention of countries and the media in various parts of the world towards the Saudi capital, Riyadh. It carried agreements and partnerships between Saudi Arabia and America, and witnessed the convening of three summits “Saudi-American, Gulf-American, and Arab-Islamic-American”, which highlighted the Islamic and international political status of Saudi Arabia, and its consideration of it as an important and essential element in the countries of the Middle East region.

The 48 hours that Trump spent in Riyadh showed the pioneering role of the Kingdom, the development it is experiencing, the accuracy in preparation and organization, the good reception, and the historical heritage that the Kingdom abounds in. Rather, he left it dazzled by what he found in it, to the point that he described the Kingdom as “great.”

Trump's visit is an extension of the historical relations between his country and the Kingdom, as he cited the historic meeting that brought together King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman and US President Roosevelt, after which the long-term historical partnership journey between the two countries began.

And when Trump says: “I chose the first visit outside my country to be to the heart of the Islamic world, to the Kingdom, the guardian of the Two Holy Mosques and the qiblah of the Islamic world,” he is thus sending a message to the whole world that Riyadh has drawn a new map of what the future world situation will be like, and what is the Kingdom’s influential role in Making crucial decisions that contribute to the consolidation of global security and stability, and the protection of peoples from terrorism and those who feed and embrace it.

The international media focused their programs and pages to talk about Riyadh and its hosting of the three summits, and the signing of agreements and investment opportunities between the Kingdom and America, whose total value exceeds 350 billion dollars, to transfer knowledge, localize technology, and build promising investments and industries that will provide hundreds of thousands of job opportunities in both countries, the most prominent of which is a partnership agreement. For the manufacture of Black Hawk helicopters in the Kingdom, and 4 agreements in the field of military industries.

The US President chose Riyadh to help him in the fight against terrorism, due to its success in trimming the nails of extremist groups over the past years, to the point that it has become an international model in the fight against terrorism, as Trump signed a memorandum of understanding with the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council to establish a center to target terrorist financing.
