61-year-old woman dies in hit-and-run crash on I-95, near Wickham Rd in Brevard County
A 61-year-old woman had lost her life in a fatal hit-and run accident that happened on Interstate 95, near Wickham Road in Brevard County, Florida on Friday morning, November 19, 2021.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the woman was struck and killed by a vehicle heading northbound on Interstate 95, near Wickham Road. The woman was located around 6:45 a.m. close to a a guardrail. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by officials. At this time, it still still on known if the woman walking, sitting or standing when she was struck and killed.
Authorities are appealing with witnesses or anyone with information regarding the crash or the suspect vehicle to contact the Florida Highway patrol at 407-737-2213.
Investigation into the cause of the crash is still ongoing.
