The Ministry of Investment announced the signing of an investment agreement with a company to establish one of the largest projects for the specialized food packaging industry in Saudi Arabia, to manufacture a variety of products, including environmentally friendly, recyclable and biodegradable products.
The agreement was signed in the presence of the Minister of Investment, Engineer Khaled Al-Falih, and the Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Osama Al-Zamil.
The Ministry of Investment revealed that the value of the project is estimated at a total of one billion Saudi riyals, over a period of 7 years, with future plans to work on exploiting some types of agricultural waste. To be one of the components of the basic raw materials for manufacturing and production inputs.
