The Governor of Taif, Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, was briefed on the governorate's preparations for the King Salman Cup for Arab Clubs within the Arab Federation competitions for the 2023 season, which the Kingdom is hosting in Taif, Abha and Al-Baha.
During a preparatory meeting, in the presence of the Assistant Minister of Sports for Information and Communication, Dr. Raja Allah Al-Salami, the Undersecretary of the Ministry for Sports Facilities, Thamer Basinbel, and a number of officials of the Ministry and the Arab and Saudi Football Federations, with the participation of directors of the relevant authorities, a presentation on the initial preparations, appreciating the keenness of the wise leadership and the successful steps that are being taken. The Ministry of Sports, led by Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, has to highlight this great sporting event and its tireless efforts, pointing to the importance of making maximum efforts from all relevant government agencies, in addition to the equipment related to receiving the participants and the mass attendance and the consequent provision of quality and logistical services. .
It is noteworthy that the championship competitions will be attended by 37 clubs, and will start with the preliminary qualifying stage, and then the final qualifiers that the Kingdom will host next summer.
