Lieutenant Chad Brackman Death – Cause of Death : The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) has identified the pedestrian that died after being hit by a vehicle near 87th Street. The officials identified the Ariz. Sheriff’s Lieutenant Chad Brackman, 47.
On Wednesday, at an intersection near 87th Street and McDowell Road, the officer was working off-duty traffic control when he was hit by a vehicle. The pedestrian was badly injured from the crash and was rushed to HonorHealth Scottsdale Osborn where he later died.
The driver of the involved vehicle whose identity was not released got injuries from the accident and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities are still running investigations to discover the cause of the accident.
