Parts of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region witnessed dusty surface winds, which led to almost no horizontal visibility on the coastal parts of it.

And the National Center of Meteorology confirmed in its report that thunderstorms will continue from medium to heavy, accompanied by active winds that stir dust and dust, and showers of hail that lead to torrential rains in parts of the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, Tabuk, Al-Qassim, Hail, Al-Jawf and the northern borders.

He pointed out that the rains will be moderate in their entirety in parts of the regions of Najran, Jizan, Asir, Al-Baha, Riyadh and Al-Sharqiya.

He added that dusty surface winds are expected to activate, leading to almost no horizontal visibility on the coastal parts of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, and a drop in temperatures will also occur on parts of the northern border and Al-Jawf.

He pointed out that the expected temperatures for a number of cities will be as follows: (36 degrees in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, 33 degrees in Medina and Dammam, 32 degrees in Riyadh, 37 degrees in Jeddah, and 24 degrees in Abha).

In turn, the Jeddah Health Authority directed a set of tips to prevent dust, which is considered one of the environmental pollutants and has many harms. Because it contains particles such as pollen and microbes.

The Ministry of Health stressed that the methods of prevention are ensuring that doors and windows are closed tightly, avoiding exposure to dust except for extreme necessity, and making sure to wear air-filtering masks and change them frequently.
