Celebrities are known to be rich and famous, and rightfully so, they work very hard for fame and perform their duties 18 hours a day to make that happen.

Be it in any field, celebrities take advantage and work dedicatedly to ensure their success.

The singers and musicians tour for months on end to promote a single album;

The actors and directors leave home to shoot in frigid and inhospitable locations for the sake of art;

The sports’ personalities train all year round to keep in shape, on top of their game and win tournaments.

With so much already going on in their lives, celebrities still try to indulge and other more lucrative practices to enhance their fortune more than it already is.

For many, these practices involve starting a business.

Let me tell you that there is a difference between celebrities becoming famous through their businesses and celebrities owning a company because of their success.

Gordan Ramsay is a renowned chef, so he starting a restaurant would not be as surprising as Ryan Gosling’s starting one.

Do you get my point?

Today, we are going to talk about celebrities and their businesses that do not fall in the realm that they are celebrated in. These personalities are willing to take long term loans from direct lenders, banks, or seek an investor to make their plan work.

As a consequence, the number of celebrity-owned businesses is off the charts; it so high. From Hollywood actors and actresses to Sports sensations, starting a business has almost become a trend.

Let us take a look at some of the most successful celebrity run businesses all over the world.

  • Liquor

Famous people are often surrounded by alcohol, so it comes as no surprise that they find a business venture in this domain. The fact that they taste the most delicate and most expensive alcohol in the world makes them somewhat of an expert to enter the liquor business.

Perhaps that is why, from producing quality champagne to wine and making enriching tequila to whiskey, celebrities have done it all.

The few most famous being

Jay Z’s Arman de Brignac Champagne;

George Clooney’s Casamigos Tequila;

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s Château Miraval rosé wine.

All of these have been so acclaimed in their taste and robustness. It is that the earnings of millions through their sales seemed not fully to justify their worth.

  • Food

Moving on to food, the rich and famous have done it all. They own restaurants, they make chocolates and candies, and they even provide dietary supplements and guides.

Mark Walhberg’s Walhburger’s gourmet restaurant; I never thought I would see the day when a burger would become a constituent of the gourmet family;

Maria Sharapova is big name in women’s tennis league, her gummy candies, Sugarpova, was an even bigger name in the candies market; I do not recall candies ever being a luxury until this brand claimed they were.

Beyonce’s 22-Day Nutrition boasts vegan diet plans as its primary motive and the provision of protein bars and powders.

There are so many more names of the great taking over the food spectrum of the business world and showering themselves in the fame and notoriety of the same.

  • Clothing

Celebrities set trends in the fashion industry. If they feel that skinny jeans and tight shirts are no longer attractive, they would certainly not be to anyone, and people would start wearing flared, wide-leg pants and oversized shirts.

Is this not what happened last year?

It was like an overnight change. One day I was donning skinny jeans, and the next day, I was buying the early 2000s bootcut designed bottoms.

If someone can wield that kind of influence, he or she is bound to take advantage of the same through a business.

Cristino Ronaldo’s denim and intimate wear online store, with a cunning name CR7;

Kendall and Kylie Jenner’s clothing stores spread all over the USA, with international deliveries;

Khloe Kardashian’s Good American, the premium destination for denim wear or her sister Kim Kardashian West’s Skims line;

These amongst so many others have proven to earn humongous profits. It is mainly because of the style of the celebrity owner.

Winding Up

In the end, I want to mention a pretty salient fact that most of us seem to neglect. Just because the celebrities are already famous and looked up to by their loyal followers, this does not mean that every celebrity-owned business will be a success.

There have been more than enough failed attempts at entrepreneurship by celebrities that will prove my point. A business failure is as devastating for the common folks like us as it is to a personality. They might have to take debt consolidation loans for bad credit like those found in the UK, to sum up, all of their debt.

Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop is a prime example of a stupid and utterly bizarre business idea that is fooling no one and just tarnishing her incredible acting career.
