A Jordanian woman gave birth after a marriage that lasted 27 years and dozens of unsuccessful attempts to conceive.
Doctor Hilal Abu Ghosh, a senior consultant for gynecology and IVF, in the capital, Amman, revealed the birth of the baby Majdoleen after 15 attempts to conceive through IVF and a marriage that lasted 27 years, which is the first birth of its kind in the world.
Abu Ghosh, who was following the case of the couple, stated that this is a global event and achievement, as for the first time in the world a couple give birth after 27 years of marriage without donors.
Abu Ghosh explained that the husband is 55 years old and the wife is 44 years old. For this reason, childbirth in light of all these factors is considered a unique medical achievement, as there is no case of childbirth after 27 years of marriage without donors. Abu Ghosh emphasized that the psychological and social factor played an important role in the success of the birth.
