“The ultimate test of a man’s greatness is
not his disposition in times of
convenience but his disposition during
times of challenge” – Martin Luther.
To whom much is given, not only is much
expected but much is capable. We are
capable of doing much in our lives
because by virtue of your existence from
birth to now, you have been equipped
with many experiences which has given
you a glimpse of what or how life is and
has also shown you how to pilot the ship
of your noble self to better grounds where
your visions are achieved.
Though we be endowed with manifold
talent, there are some traits within us
which if not controlled will tear us apart
or destroy everything we have labored
for.
For some of us this weakness is in the
“illiterate snake”
that hides in our
trouser ever ready to unleash to anything
on skirt.
For some it’s about controlling the
tongue from talking things that ruin
friendship or things that put the person
(the owner of the tongue) in trouble.
Exercise
Go back to the previous exercise where
you outlined some of your negative
character.
– Go deeper into your silence to discover
more of your negative traits.
– Brainstorm how you will overcome
them; you can set them as long and short
term goals.
You greatness starts in the mastery of
your weakness. This is so because your
weakness can press the “spoil button” for
you anytime.
You have a vision that’s too valuable to
be allowed in the prison of the mind or to
allow avoidable flaws to destroy. It’s my
believe that if everybody on earth was
able to achieve 60% of his noble dreams,
the angels will relocate to make earth
their new abode
Exercise 2
1. Go to a quite place and review your brief
stay on earth, what do you want to make
of it, what do you want to
achieve…..why?
2. Plan your life all the way to the end, if
you hope to live up to 80 then plan to 80,
if you hope to live up to 100 then plan to
100.
Plan as in where you will be
Who you will be
What you would be.
what you would have achieved.
The impact you would have created in
your community, state or nation.
You have gone very far in the game of life,
if you do more, you can get to the top of
your carrier. Trustfully you can do more,
irrespective of your past, irrespective of
the challenges you face now….you can
and will triumph to build an heritage for
mankind……i believe in you.
