A 13-year-old teen, of Lancaster has been arrested on suspicions of attempted murder, reports says.
Authorities say a man identified only to be his 20s was shot in the face at a walkway off Skipton Street, Morecambe Monday at about 18:00 local time. Officials with the Lancashire Police responded and transported the man to the hospital, in a serious condition.
It is not clear if the teen will be charged or if another suspect will be identified.
“This incident has left a man with some very serious injuries and I would appeal to anyone who has any information to come forward and speak to us,” said Det Ch Insp James Edmonds.
