Erin MacKay (from Templeton) has been identified by State Police as the driver who was killed after a flying rim and tire crashed through her windshield yesterday on Rt 2 in Fitchburg. Police are searching for witnesses & video.

We’ve confirmed that the victim of yesterday’s Fitchburg crash is Erin MacKay. Erin was killed when a tire flew off a car and hit her vehicle. She was a teacher at Forest Avenue Elementary School. A growing memorial sits outside the school in Hudson
