Coronavirus: Laurence Dworkin – respected South Africa documentary filmmaker, producer, director, editor and lecturer – has died from Covid-19. Laurence Dworkin was a founder member of South Africa’s Independent Producers Organisation (@Iproducersorg_) and a past chairperson.
It was with deep sadness that I learned of the passing Fr. Vincent Đoàn Bùi, PSS. He died from Covid-19.
He was a good and holy priest, seminary professor and mentor to many including myself at St Patricks Seminary, Menlo Park.
May he rest forever in the joy of the Lord! #RIP pic.twitter.com/Nr65dOXeeY— Sr Nancy Usselmann (@snancy) June 10, 2020

Feeling so sad upon hearing the brutal news this morning about Laurence Dworkin losing the battle against Covid-19. He was an iconic, pioneering filmmaker from the struggle days of the 1980s, a principled creative South African. May he R.I.P.
