Very sad to hear Felicity Bryan has died. She was a force of nature, an agent with a great eye for non fiction and was behind a great journalism fellowship with Washington Post that launched many great careers. Condolences to her family and colleagues.

I am incredibly sad about Felicity Bryan. She was just a properly good person, amazing agent, gave time to everyone. Her jackets were show-stopping and her general taste in everything impeccable. She lit up every room. So sorry she has gone far too soon

We were very sad to hear of Felicity Bryan’s passing: an incredible literary agent and seasoned exhibitor at The London Book Fair. The world of books will never quite be the same. Our thoughts are with her family, friends and colleagues.

A bright light of the journalistic and literary world has been extinguished. Felicity Bryan’s brilliance, vivacity and ingenuity will not be forgotten. I’m forever indebted to her for the Stern Fellowship which taught me and many others so much.

RIP Felicity Bryan, literary agent, journalist, friend and sponsor of the great Stern fellowship at the Washington Post, now aptly renamed the Stern-Bryan fellowship

Felicity Bryan was one of the best agents around and a pleasure to be with. She always had great stories to tell -the trip to Oviedo with Karen Armstrong to pick up the Princess of Asturias prize is a personal favourite- and great books to champion. She will be sorely missed.

I met Felicity Bryan a few months ago, right before we stopped meeting people, in Jaipur: she was a gracious and kind woman who never let on about the uncommon amount of tragedy in her life, which I am just reading about now. How sad that she is gone.

RIP Felicity Bryan literary agent extraordinaire. An effervescent bundle of energy & enthusiasm matched by deep intelligence & strategic insight. She cherished her authors, her family & adored her chosen career. How we shall miss her unique spirit. She was one of the greats.
