Gerardo R. Bamaca Death – Cause of Death : Gerardo R. Bamaca, 57, of Pineville has died, while Daryl Williams and another hurt following a double-car accident that happened on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 approximately 6:15 a.m. on U.S. Highway 71 in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana.
Preliminary investigation revealed that, Williams, of Colorado was heading southbound on Highway 71 driving a 2015 Buick when he veered off the centerlines onto the northbound lane and crashed into the driver’s side of a 2000 Toyota Corolla, that was operated by Bamaca.
Bamaca who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Both his passenger and Williams sustained moderate injuries and were taken to an area hospital for treatment. It was not made known if Williams was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Investigation into the cause of the crash is still ongoing.
