What a sad, sad day. God truly gained an angel, Elizabeth Slovak. Although we did not talk much, I remember her being an all-around genuine, wonderful person and a wonderful sorority sister. Rest In Peace, and my prayers are with her loved ones.
I don’t understand why people are taken from us so soon. Elizabeth Slovak you were so loved by so many people! You brought sunshine into any room you walked into and made anyone’s day brighter. I loved the memories we shared at SFA and in delta zeta. I knew as soon as I saw you in your lily print on day 1 of rush I wanted you as my little. RIP sweet girl! You will always be my little

“Be the reason someone smiles today.”It is with much sorrow to report Elizabeth Slovak passed away today. She was 2 days shy of her 25th birthday. She is the daughter of a good friend of mine and I had the honor of meeting her a few weeks back. She was beautiful, gentle, kind, smart and loving. I repeatedly heard from numerous people she never said a bad word about anyone. How many people do you know are like that? The above quote is from her instagram. She not only talked the talk but walked the walk. In this awful tragedy that still feels like a dream made me look at myself. I want to be positive, not temperamental and have soul as beautiful as hers. She inspires me to want to be better. With all the ugliness in the world we should spread smiles and not sorrow. Be kind and be the reason someone smiles today.
Elizabeth, it is not fair your light was prematurely snuffed from this earth but I know you are in heaven and will be an inspiration to those who need you. You will be a guardian angel to many. Rest In Peace sweet beautiful girl. You will never be forgotten.
