Very sad shocking News yesterday. Losing a childhood friend is always tragic for the many friends and especially family members. I will always remember Britt Kearce as an amazing person and someone who was extremely competitive. We all know Britt was the center of attention at any party or social function. I remember my friend in high school as someone that always brought out the best in those around him! We were Teammates in all sports from 8th grade through graduation. We lost touch in our adult lives only seeing each other maybe 3 or 4 times. Yet all my family and close friends knew Britt from my stories. All my current and former employees know who he is because this picture has been on my office wall for 23 years. It reminds me of who I am and where I come from! The good friends who helped shape me into who I still am today…. my heart hurts for the loss of my dear friend but pales in comparison to what his family has lost… RIP Britt.
