Merci Mack Death – Dead: A great loss was made known to InsideEko. As friends and families of the deceased are mourning the passing of their loved and cherished Merci Mack.
Merci Mack was a Black transgender woman who was fatally shot in Dallas on June 30 at the age of 22. Her body was found lifeless in a parking lot by a passerby.
Having heard about this great loss, the family of this individual is passing through pains, mourning the unexpected passing of their beloved.
This departure was confirmed through social media posts made by Twitter users who pour out tributes, and condolences to the family of the deceased.
I have no words right now and my heart is broken. Michael (who now goes by Merci Mack) was taken from us last night in a cruel murder against black trans women. This picture perfectly describes her. I had come to get my coffee and accidentally left my phone at Starbucks. When I came back to get it Michael wouldn’t let me leave until I let her take a picture. I could walk up in a so-so mood and Michael wasn’t going to let me leave until I was smiling. She herself always had a smile on her face, was cracking jokes, and never hesitated to give me feedback on my wardrobe (which I gladly welcomed). She was one of those people who simply made your day better and it crushes me to think that the rest of her life was taken away.
I’m truly heart broken. Hug the ones you love, fight for your cause and never take a single day for granted.

The Black Trans community of Dallas is in complete agony over the death of Merci Mack, a 22 year old Black Trans woman, found lifeless in a parking lot yesterday, June 30th. The dire demand for justice for anti-trans violence has gone unfulfilled. Yet we remain persistent in our Advocacy and activism for justice!

We are still working on getting more details about the death, as family statement on the death is yet to be released.
