Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Owner and operator of Aspen Chiropractic Clinic on North Main in downtown Crookston, Craig J. Theede, 34, died in a vehicle crash Friday April 30 on US Highway 2 between East Grand Forks and Fisher, near the Pet Haven Pet Cemetery.
Around 12:27 p.m. Friday in the westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 2 at 410th Ave. SW. Theede was driving a 2010 Toyota Camry when he exited the roadway, entered the right ditch and hit a tree
This death has caused a lot of friends and family of Theede so much hurt. It is in that mourning spirit that the concerned persons have taken to social media to share tributes to the deceased and condolences to the affected family.

With a heavy heart I would like to ask everyone to please donate, if you can.. to help Kate with the upcoming medical costs, as she is soon to be delivering their baby girl Eva..and why do I ask this? Because as many of you know, Craig was one of ultimate best humans that has walked this earth, he not only was my boss but very soon became one of the best friends I could’ve had, he made me a better person, he was always the one I talked to right away In the morning.. the good,the bad, and the ugly; he never judged me and always always saw the best, definitely more than I ever saw In my self, he was caring and and level headed. He was a saint! We got to know eachother so well, that soon enough I knew his schedule(even the non work related schedule) better than he did and he’d always say to others “ Alyssa is the boss don’t talk to me, talk to her, she runs the show, well actually her and Kate do but just talk to her, they’ll figure it out together” NEVER in a million years did I think I’d have a job that felt like “home” that didn’t feel like work. He very soon became someone who treated me and my boys like family, and we will forever be grateful for that. As Craig would always say, “im glad I got to see you, but I hope I don’t have to see you here again, at least for a long time because that means I did my job, but always know I’m here if you need me for anything.” and when he said ANYTHING, he wasn’t kidding, I’ve watched that man help in ways that wasn’t just chiropractic work, he was a healer of the body but also sometimes the heart and minds of many and I know many patients, friends and family will agree. With that being said I’ll stop there, because I feel like I could go on and on about him until I’m blue in the face, but I’ll save that for another time.. mainly I just want everyone to keep his beautiful wife Kate, son Miller, unborn baby girl Eva, and all who loved him in your thoughts and prayers. So in Craig’s words.. “stay active, don’t forget to stretch, and don’t overdue it because I dont want you to ruin my work”but have a “cocktail” in his honor as well. Until we meet again “boss man”, my dear “dorky” friend(yes he was a dork but the best dork there was). I will forever tell stories about you, and let your memories explode onto others, I will try to be as good of a human as you were and always always be there for Kate and your kids, because I know you would’ve done the same for my family.
Paul and I were heartbroken to read this last night. Dr Craig was one of those people we saw rarely but thought of and spoke of often. I recommended him to people all the time. He wasn’t just an excellent practitioner, he was a true healer and a beautiful soul.
