once again, bring unexpected and devastating news. We must say goodbye to 32-year employee Thomas Gilbert. This gentle giant was always smiling and spent most of his DCSO career in uniform. About seven years ago, he retired and was working in the Records Division as a STEP employee when he passed. Words can’t express how much he will be missed. Thoughts and prayers for all those at the sheriff’s office who knew him best and to his friends and family. Rest in Peace “Big Gilbert.”
