Jose Pastor Manzanares Death – Cause of Death – The 74-year-old man who was allegedly struck and killed during a hit-and-run on Monday night, 15th of November 2021, have been identified as Jose Pastor Manzares. According to investigators, a Manassas woman, who has been identified as the suspect of the hit-and-run, stopped her car to take the victim’s phone and throw it away, preventing him from calling emergency services.

Reports states that after throwing the phone away, she drove off, leaving Manzares alone in the street. Manzares died after being transported to a local hospital. According to Prince William County police, the suspect 23-year-old Keiry Beatriz Alvarez Contreras was initially charged with felony hit and run, and driving without a license.

On Wednesday, 17th of November 2021, authorities said they added a charge of felony homicide and preventing the summoning of emergency services. We extend  our condolences, thoughts and prayers to the family of Manzares at this difficult time.
