Pregnant Kaitlyn Anderson and James Brooks ID as MoDOT workers killed in South County
Kaitlyn Anderson Death – Cause of Death : 58-year-old James Brooks and 25-year-old Kaitlyn Anderson have been identified as the two Missouri Department of Transportation workers that lost their lives in South County accident. Anderson who was five months pregnant during the time of the accident was an intermediate maintenance worker and had worked for the department for 2 years. Brooks was a senior maintenance worker and he was said to have worked for the department for 9 years.
According to initial investigation, on Thursday, around 11:30 a.m., three MoDOT workers were hit and killed by a vehicle driven by Stan McFadden of Hillsboro, Missouri in South County when they were restriping Telegraph Road on the ramp to Interstate 255. It was stated that the driver drove through the cones in a Chevy Cavlier and struck the workers.
Two of the workers; Brooks and Anderson lost their lives in the crash and the other victim, identified as Michael S. Brown got injuries and was rushed to the hospital.
The accident is still under investigation by the officials.
