“Blown away with the news today of Lori Underwood passing away in a horrific motorcycle accident. Lori and I go waaayyy back to when I was probably 9-10 years old. She would be riding the tail board of the apparatus at CFCRS when I was riding to calls with my father. She would always talk and include me in on conversations. As I got older eventually joining we got to ride together on the medic, then going to fires and crashes at RS. I graduated high school and Started working together at Hart to Heart Ambulance. We laughed, we cried, we were together all the time. Years later I was hired and we were in the BCFD Fire Academy together. We Rode together to class every damn day! Drank a lot of beers to get us through! You were the “mother hen” of our class steering us through. You had already been riding the medic for years then reduced and go into the class with us. You were my neighbor when I bought my house and always looked out for me, Robin and my kids. You were their 2nd mom as Logan and Leah would play with Chase and Chloe daily! Through out the years we were distanced but in the end you were still a friend and I’m gonna miss you! Love ya girl! Lori Underwood”
