Veteran actress Candy Moloi has passed away.
Moloi played the role of Vho-Makhadzi on Sabc 2’s Muvhango for which she won the 2009 SAFTA for Best Supporting Actress in a TV Soap. She also had starring roles on Thola, Death of a Queen and a recurring role as Vho-Phophi Baloyi in Giyani.

Veteran actress CANDY MOLOI (67), has passed away after a long battle with CANCER on Tuesday, 28 July.
Moloi was popular for her role as Vho-Makhadzi in local soapie Muvhango, which she was part of when it first premiered in 1997.
.
From her role, she scooped Best Supporting Actress SAFTA in 2009.Moloi also appeared in SABC1 mini-series Death of a Queen, SABC2 series Thola, Mzansi Magic telenovela Ring of Lies, and Giyani – Land of Blood.
She is also the mother of actress and producer Lerato Zah Moloi, who both starred on ‘Muvhango’.
We are still working on getting more details about the death, as family statement on the death is yet to be released.
