Friends,
Many of you have been asking, and I just wanted to post some details about my Dad’s memorial service. Due to the circumstances surrounding Coronavirus, my dads memorial service will only be open to family members.
The service will be at 4:00 this Friday afternoon, July 31. Many people have asked, and so we will be streaming the service on Facebook.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Arise2Read. For the past several years my Dad was passionate about participating in this reading program, and we would love to see it get more recognition and support throughout Memphis.
Lastly, my family has been overwhelmed by everyone’s generosity over the last few days. Thank you all so much for supporting us through this horrible situation. We’ve received countless calls and texts from people all over the country wanting to help in some way, so thank you all. We also are incredibly thankful for everyone’s donations to the GoFundMe page. That money will support our family over the coming months as we figure things out. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all. Please continue praying for us.
