We’ve lost another Trans sister – Queasha Hardy of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
News outlets are deadnaming and misgendering her. Queasha is the third known Louisiana Black trans woman killed in recent weeks.

Queasha Hardy has also been identified by community members as being murdered today. We are sending so much love to our family in the Baton Rouge and New Orleans area. Since the beginning of July, Shaki Peters, Draya McCarty, and now Queasha D. Hardy have had their lives stolen. Their lives were sacred.
The article reporting the murder has yet to identify Queasha’s name.
We are still working on getting more details about the death, as family statement on the death is yet to be released.
