A few days after commemorating the International Day of Gypsy Genocide, kako Peter Höllenreiner has left us 81 years old. Kako Peter was deported in 1943 to the Auschwitz-Birkenau death camp with only four and survived.

Mourning for Peter Höllenreiner. After being imprisoned in four concentration camps, including Auschwitz, he had to experience after 1945 how Sinti and Roma were further discriminated against in post-war Germany. As a contemporary witness, he reported on the history of persecution of Sinti and Roma.


Today one of the greats left us, Peter Höllenreiner, Holocaust Survivor. SURVIVOR of the horror lived in Auschwitz, Ravensbrück, Mauthausen and Bergen-Belsen with only four years old. Höllenreiner, 81, was absent in Munich, today Tuesday, July 28.


On July 28 in Munich, Peter Höllenreiner, another voice from the memory of the Samudaripen, the Gypsy Holocaust, died. Those who suffered the Nazi genocide in their flesh are leaving us, but they will remain alive in our hearts so that their teachings will not be extinguished. D.E.P
