When nothing goes right, go left.

My friend Vigotsky used to say something back then in secondary school, he said that  two wrongs can never make a right but three lefts can make a right. If we take the  wrongs turn to be the left turn. Now, standing where you are, take a left turn (it takes you in the opposite direction to your right), take a few steps then take another turn to your left, take a few steps then take another turn to your left, this last turn puts you in the original right direction you wanted to go.

Life is a long stream of challenges that require flexibility in us. We have big dreams and ambition yet we have to sigh in the face of limited resource life offers us, standing where we are we cannot see the aspired goal we envisage, the future may seem bleak to us. This is where you go left.

Relax a while and see every step as a rung in the ladder of sucex. Relax and know all things will work for your good and connect you to the dots you are working on. If you dream of owning a company, ?do you also know how to manage a company.

Life knows more than us hence it takes us through many crucial steps so we acquire the necessary skill needed to be able to manage effectively that which we envisage so that when we find ourself in that place,we willl not shoot ourself in the leg or destroy ourself for lack of proper knowledge to manage what is in our hands.

The left turn is managing where you are properly knowing that it is a preparation for better days ahead. If you want to be a medical doctor but find yourself in a mechanic shop. It may mean that there is a key attitude you need to learn and right now, its the mechanic workshop that will empower you with that skill. By being in that workshop you can save the money you need to pursue your career, secondly you can learn how to manage difficult people….a skill which may very crucial to your sucex as a doctor. You may think that you will work in an oil company hospital and after school, you become so good the military makes you an offer you cannot reject then you will see yourself dealing with stubborn military men who have been trained to think differently from you a civilian. You now find yourself having much difficulty managing your own patients (military minded people) and other junior staff who may be stubbornly military minded and even disregard you as a bloody civilian.

So life is full of left turns which you must manage with dignity for in due time, you will land in the right turn.

Cheers.
