Tributes To James Gaddy

Below are some of the statements shared across social media users’ timelines on the death of Gaddy.

“Some may have known him as James Gaddy, Mr. Yogi, Jamesngains or “That Guy”. Whichever hat he wore in your interaction of meeting, knowing one another, or simply feeling his contagious energy, it was special. James was one of a kind, one who found the good in simply everything, saw something special in each human and loved everyone he knew and didn’t know with all his heart and soul. James was the definition of a beautiful soul. GoFundMe

Growing up down south with his mom and all 4 siblings allowed him to see life out of a specific lense. One filled with gratitude, triumph, and faith. He quickly realized his calling in life was bigger than he had ever imagined but knew he was the one to be chosen for the call. James’ accomplishments speak for themselves as he has navigated through multiple roles and leadership positions. Serving on mission trips to Haiti , El Salvador and more to give back in anyway he could. Opening and managing multiple restaurants including Seasons 52, Brio, PF Chang’s and building them from the ground up. He then moved his way into the corporate world of selling hearing aids for Miracle Ear.

However, he began to find his real purpose and passion when he entered into the fitness world. Becoming Head Coach & Studio Manager of Orangetheory Fitness Cherry Hill where he built that studio from the ground up. He loved every member, every coach, and every single person that stepped through that door. He knew this was the fuel that fired his soul.

He was only just beginning when he realized yoga and fitness changed his life. In 2017 he started Project Little Warriors, his nonprofit organization serving the inner city through yoga and mindfulness. Leading these little Warriors to greatness, inspiring them to be better, and always chase after their dreams. It was his heartbeat, his love, his most treasured accomplishment. He then began to bring this love into a fitness studio of his own, Ironertia. A company he created many years ago but allowed his journey to show him what it would develop into, and it sure did. His own boutique studio in the heart of Haddonfield was his latest endeavor and he knew he wasn’t going to stop until it was the best!

Together, let’s be the dream team he always called us to be and come together during this time. Any and all proceeds will go toward the funeral expenses his family has taken on during this unbearable time, as well as a memorial in New Jersey at a later date.

If you would like to send any cards of condolences to his family, you can send them to The Gaddy Family 913 Bethel St. Unit 751, Clover, SC 29710

& remember, go love somebody.”
