It is noteworthy that Taher Hussein is a Yemeni artist, poet and composer, born in the city of Dhamar, Yemen, in the Al-Hada district, in the village of Tanan.

He left Yemen at the age of ten and settled in the city of Taif for four years, and there he watched a popular concert by the great artist Talal Maddah, and then decided to become a professional artist. He left Taif when he was fourteen years old and settled in Jeddah. He sang on Saudi radio before he was seventeen years old, presented many names to the artistic scene, and presented many melodies to the most prominent artists in the Gulf.

He is considered the most important Yemeni artist and composer who is fluent in Sana’ani art, and has a high artistic sense of the Yemeni artistic heritage in particular and the Arab one in general. He is fluent in playing more than one musical instrument, especially the oud and violin. The late published many critical technical articles in Arab newspapers.
