Lauren White Winchester KY Death : Through several social media announcement made on November 16, we learnt about the death of Lauren White, a Trauma ICU at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. Lauren went to Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing and was attended Eastern Kentucky University
“I just wanted to add to the beautiful pictures of Lauren White. I still do not fully accept she is not on this earth any more. She took me under her wing when I first started in TICU (as she did with all the new nurses). We have been friends for over a decade. My life, and more importantly Curt and her son’s lives will have such a gaping hole without her. I know she is in heaven looking down on her boys with love and protection. Please hug those you love, and get together with friends as often as you can. We never know when we will be called to heaven”
“Lauren White was always the sweetest person in school. There wasn’t a single person she didn’t know and like. She was there when those were down and she would just light the room with her kindness. After high school it’s like everyone goes down their own path and some aren’t the same way. We came back together on the ball field. Our boys enjoyed playing baseball together and even her husband being there to help coach and step in wherever needed.Today my heart broke finding out that she is gone. We didn’t talk daily, we didn’t see each other, but that’s the thing with Lauren, you didn’t have too. She would speak, ask about family, and the kids. My heart breaks for your sweet boys, husband, family, and close friends. Praying for everyone as even if you didn’t speak regularly we all have lost a great friend!”
“Tonight my soul is sad. I have been overwhelmed with memories of our precious sister and friend Lauren White. The tributes written by those who knew and loved her are inspirational. To know Lauren was to love her. Prayers tonight for her family- especially Curt and her boys. Hugs to her Trauma family. Sending love- will never forget. “My heart is broken. Every time I think of Curt and Lauren White, I think how we need to get together because it’s been so long. Knowing now that I will never see Lauren again on this side of Heaven is something I can’t wrap my head around tonight. She was one of the best people I have ever met…. So beautiful on the outside that you would never expect anyone could be that beautiful on the inside, too….but she was. The world was better because she was in it. I loved her dearly, I will miss her terribly, but my heart aches even more for her family.

“Isn’t it crazy how your heart physically hurts when you have so many friends that are grieving?! I only knew Lauren White from exchanges at church but I will say I never saw her without a smile on her beautiful face. I just cannot fathom her families anguish and cannot stop thinking about them. Certainly puts everything in perspective and makes all the silly things I have fretted over today seem ridiculous. Praying for her husband, three young boys and all her family and friends that are grieving tonight. Love to all”.
