John Eric Cole Death : 29-year-old John Eric Cole, of Birmingham was shot and killed of his first day at work in a manufacturing plant near Birmingham at the early hours of Wednesday.
Responding deputies located the lifeless body of Cole at past midnight with multiple gunshots wounds at the scene after responding to multiple shots fired reports in the production place, reports says. Investigators say 34-year-old Dexter Rashad Walker turned himself and was arrested at the scene.
According to The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department, Walker is being held without bond on a murder charge. It is not immediately known if he has an attorney. Officials say the company alleged the victim and the suspect knew each other outside the work place.
Over 215 employees works at the Alabama plant.
