Brian Mccann – Death – Passed Away: Brian McCann, of Brockville, Ontario, a scout and ice hockey player of Brockville Braves, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. The news of his passing was announced on Facebook by Brockville Braves, on their official Facebook page. In the post the Brockville Braves express their sadness of the passing of their beloved scout Brian, they extend their thoughts and love to his wife and his beloved family. Brian’s cause of death was not announced on the Brockville Braves post.

Brian is a husband to Jenny, he was a beloved husband, son, brother, friend, and teammate. He is a long-time resident of Brockville, Ontario, and a scout and Ice Hockey Player of Brockville Braves. The Brockville Braves are a Junior ice hockey team from Brockville, Ontario, Canada. They are a part of the Central Canada Hockey League. Such NHLers as Larry Robinson and current player Wayne Simmonds of the Toronto Maple Leafs, amongst other famous players, have all played for the Braves. Brockville Braves is one of the best Ice Hockey teams is popularly known for producing great talent. Brian has been part of this great team. He will be forever remembered by his Brockville Braves teammates and the entire Brockville community.

A GoFundMe account was created by Brian’s friend Sal Granata, in other to raise funds for the family Brian in other to assist them with the funeral. The account which was set to raise $10000 has gotten up to $5695 with Joseph Toffoli with the highest donation of $500. In the GoFundMe account, Brian was described as honest, kind-hearted, caring, and relentless watching thousands of games over the years looking for those players that had dreams. He was integrated in the hockey community and represented many young players who wanted to pursue their dreams of playing hockey long after their dreams seemed to be finished. Brian continued to pursue opportunities for anyone that wanted to keep playing with numerous players playing in junior, post-secondary, or professional in North America and overseas. Taysean Smith commented on the death news of Brian by the Brockville Brave, he wrote that “Rest In Peace McCann, My deepest condolences to Jenny and his family. All he ever wanted to do was help me out in every aspect of life. Brian was a no-bullshit type of guy, real Rough around the edges, but with the purest heart and best of intentions for all of his guys! True stand-up guy, rest up McCann, and may your soul be at peace!” It is sad and heartbreaking that Brian passed away all of a sudden, he will be greatly missed but his memory and legacy will be remembered forever.
