Help police locate missing man last seen being put in his car by 2 individuals.

News reaching us states that the authorities are searching for a 73-year-old man who was reported missing on Monday morning. According to the police 73-year-old Clyde Merriweather was last seen being put into his own vehicle by 2 people at Gary truck stop on Wednesday.

The Gary police said he was in the company of a young man and woman, who the officials are trying to identify. his car was last seen parked in front of the Love’s Truck stop in the 3100 block of Grant St. in Gary at approximately 5:30 a.m.

The family of the missing man are growing increasingly worried and they are fearing the worst after they saw the video of him being put into his vehicle in the morning of Wednesday.

Andrea Lackey, Clyde’s daughter said “I’m scared not to find him. I’m just scared”.

In the security video obtained by the police, Clyde is seen being put into the passenger side of his own vehicle by a male wearing a dark blue hoodie with dark jeans.

Clyde’s wife Barbara said “My husband does not pick up any strangers. He wouldn’t take anybody home. He would not have done that. That is not my husband’s character”. She said “Let him come home. He’s loved and we want him to come home”.

Andrea said “He would not let nobody drive his vehicle. He would not let nobody do anything like that. My father is a loner”. ” She said “Please, please, we love you. Please come home. Please people, help”.

The family said Clyde has been missing since Monday night, which is two days before he was seen with that young couple. He had left home and didn’t return, and family members said he’s been suffering from memory problems and doesn’t have a working cell phone.

Police said Merriweather has not made contact with any friends or family during this time. Investigators are concerned about his health and well-being.

And the female accomplice is a White female, who is in her early 20s wearing a pink zipped hooded sweatshirt, white striped skirt, black socks and carrying black boots. Police said she has long dark hair with a slim build and is approximately 5’4″ tall to 5’6″ tall.
