Jose Juan Santos-Elias Death – Cause of Death – The man who was fatally shot in Gresham’s Pat Pfeifer Park on Sunday, has been identified as 24-year-old Jose Juan Santos-Elias from Portland. According to the Gresham police, when they got to the scene of the crime, they located Jose dead from an apparent gunshot wound. The incident took place at 424 Northeast 172nd Avenue at about 8:45 p.m.
Investigation suggests that Jose was shot about an hour before police got to the scene. No suspect has been identified as this time. The Multnomah County Medical Examiner ruled Santos-Elias’s death a homicide.
