Detectives with the Lafayette Police Department are investigating a late-night Monday shooting that left one person hospitalized.
Investigators were called to the scene in the 2800 block of NE Evangeline Thruway at about 10:26 pm. Monday on a shooting report. Arriving officials located a victim suffer ng from multiple gunshot injuries. The unidentified individual was transported to a local hospital in a stable condition.
