The Hadith were witnessed by his closest Feng Shui For Life Review companions and eventually written down after his death. One trouble with the Hadith is that there are literally thousands upon thousands of these sayings. Many of them are used to justify or condemn and control every aspect of Muslim life. Muhammad’s own words and deeds serve as the prime example of acceptable Muslim behavior. If there is a Hadith of the prophet doing a thing a specific way then all good Muslims will attempt to do that thing in the same manner. One can readily see how the Muslim view of God is shaped by his belief in the holy books. Allah, Himself is the guardian of both.

Muslims also believe that Allah sent down about 100 some odd holy revelations to man. Conveniently, these were “lost”. Finally, the Torah of Moses (Tawra), the Psalms of David (Zabur), the Gospel of Christ (Injil) are all said to be corrupted and untrustworthy today. Here is where I usually challenge Muslims a bit. If He can faithfully guard the Quran, why was some Jew or Christian able to change or corrupt the former holy books? Was Allah asleep when this occurred?

When I learned that the Muslim view of God is established by what a man is exposed to, namely, the Quran and Hadith, I determined that in order for Muslims to have God’s complete truth they simply needed exposure to the Bible as well. The Quran repeatedly claims that the prior books are to be obeyed. This brief study does not allow us to look at all of these references here, but consider:”O ye who believe! Believe in Allah and His Messenger, and the scripture which He hath sent to His Messenger and the scripture which He sent to those before (him). Any who denieth Allah, His angels, His Books, His Messenger, and the Day of Judgment, hath gone far, far astray.” S. 4:136

During most of my conversations with Muslims about the Savior, this argument (the corruption of the Bible) comes up. It is unfortunate, but it reminds me that the only way to a person’s heart is through the power and wisdom of the Holy Spirit, not through clever arguments. Changing the Muslim view of God is no small task. It can be done, but Allah’s grace and mercy must be where one places his trust. Some Christians believe that we are in the midst of the greatest revival ever. Others believe that the church has backslidden to its worst standard in the memory of man. Who is right, and why do we find such radical differences in perception.
