The National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an occasion that has a distinguished historical memory, through which the integration and unity of this dear country was achieved at the hands of the founder, King Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud (may God rest his soul). Today, our 87th National Day passes us by, reflecting the extent of cohesion and interdependence between the people and the wise leadership, which embodied in all meanings the spirit of national belonging to a homeland in which the path of goodness and development continues, and embodied in it the meanings of loyalty to leaders who were loyal to their people and dedicated to the elevation of their country, until it became a great place among nations.

As we celebrate this precious occasion for all of us, we must remember the achievements and developments that have been achieved in a short period of time in various fields, especially the huge leaps in the development of the Saudi Armed Forces under the generous directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz (may God protect him), the Supreme Commander of all Military Forces, and His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense (may God protect him), in this auspicious era our armed forces have become in line with all advanced programs in armament and training, and it was evident through the current events in the region that Our valiant forces have proven their high combat and defensive capabilities and have been a protective shield for this country.

I am also pleased and honored on this occasion to extend the highest verses of congratulations and blessings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman (may God protect him), to his faithful Crown Prince, and to the honorable Saudi people. And I ask God Almighty to protect our dear country from the plots of the haters and enemies, to bestow upon us the grace of security and safety, and to grant victory to our brave soldiers stationed on the southern border, God willing.
