In the midst of the emerging Corona Virus crisis (Covid 19), and the entire world is eager for a cure for this virus, which has ended the lives of more than 112,000 out of 1.8 million infected as of (10:00 pm Sunday), and amid the atmosphere of the American crisis with the World Health Organization, in the wake of the accusation of the American President Donald Trump, for failing to manage the Corona crisis, wrote the Director-General of the World Health Organization, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, two words in a tweet that he pinned on his Twitter account, ending them with an exclamation mark! This opened the door to wondering about the code of that mark.

And the two words Tedros wrote were none other than Happy Easter! Which in Arabic means "Happy Easter", but the exclamation mark he placed at the end of the two words made some wonder if he meant the situation the world is going through with the Corona pandemic, the lack of happiness and the contradiction between happiness and the pandemic.

This comes a few days after he called on the world not to politicize the crisis resulting from the outbreak of the virus, calling for sincere solidarity at the global level and for the United States and China to show honest leadership.

Trump had confirmed that Washington might reconsider the funding it provides to the organization.

Tedros was subjected to death threats, in light of renewed criticism of his management of the Corona crisis, despite his organization’s attempts to contribute to global efforts to combat the emerging Corona virus pandemic.

Tedros confirmed, in a press conference published by the American Al-Hurra TV website, that he had been subjected to personal attacks that had been going on for more than two or three months. Including racial insults, black or negro, and death threats, and he said, "For the first time I would like to announce this."

It is noteworthy that Tedros, who is in his third year heading the global organization, and has two years left, is the first African director general in the agency’s history, which extends for more than 72 years, and was elected to the position after holding the position of Minister of Health in Ethiopia for 7 years, and his country’s foreign minister for 4 years.

He was previously criticized in 2017 for his handling of cholera epidemics in Ethiopia and Sudan, and experts accused him at the time of failing to correctly classify the disease outbreak to avoid embarrassing the two African systems, according to a report by the National Interest website.
