More than 35 years have passed since the construction of the old housing in the city of Buraidah, located in the north of the city, which is known to the people as (the old housing). Neighborhoods 3-6 complain of several problems, most notably cracked asphalt, broken sidewalks, and widespread visual distortions, in addition to a large number of problems listed by the residents of the two neighborhoods, expressing their hope for the response of the concerned authorities. Citizen Muhammad al-Saab al-Tuwaijri, one of the residents, says that the neighborhood suffers from a problem with the asphalt layer, which is worn out and the sidewalks broken.
For his part, Muhammad al-Hamidah adds: We are the residents of the housing, one of the oldest of the six neighborhoods. I have lived in it for about 33 years, but it lacks the most basic services. The sidewalk is worn out for more than 40 years without maintenance, and the neighborhood needs to work on planting vacant spaces and making use of small gardens, which have been neglected for a long time. Among the demands is the establishment of playgrounds and amusement parks for children and cafes, as there are several sites that need self-operation to be a park for families and become an attractive recreational environment, and it is also required to re-arrange the placement of random speed bumps.
