A number of citizens complained to "Okaz" about the continued stumbling of the road linking Al-Arfa'a to the Great Stream in Taif Governorate, 9 years ago.

Citizen Sultan Al-Otaibi explained that the stumbling block of the road hindered the development of the plans of the Al-Arfaa suburb. Nawaf Al-Osaimi mentioned the importance of implementing the road to avoid the crowding of trucks to Al-Hawiyah Al-Saada, pointing out that if it is implemented, it will transfer its movement from Al-Arafah directly to Makkah and Jeddah and vice versa.

Mishaal Al-Rouqi pointed out the positive implementation of the road to facilitate the transfers of the guests of the Sacred House from Riyadh to Mecca. Others called on the Ministry of Transport to quickly implement and put a solution to some of the stalled projects in Taif, including this road.

For its part, "Okaz" monitored, during a field tour, the continued stumbling, despite the passage of more than 9 years, as the implementation of the project began in 2013 AD, and its budget, which was allocated 200 million riyals, did not satisfy its completion.

Okaz contacted the Relations and Information Department at the Ministry of Transport two months ago, and inquired about the reasons for the stumbling block and the date for the complete completion of the project, but no response was received until this report went to print.
