The annual list of the best places and tourist destinations in the world for the year 2023, issued by the American magazine “Time”, included 5 sites in Arab countries, including the Red Sea project in Saudi Arabia.
The magazine said that the project includes a vast area of scenic landscapes, as Saudi Arabia aims to attract 100 million visitors annually by 2030, as the current year 2023 will witness the completion of the first phase of the project, while the project includes the largest reserve that is operated with 100% renewable energy.
And the magazine reported that the project will include water-based activities along 125 miles of pristine coastline, such as kayaking among the mangroves, sailing among 90 islands in the Red Sea, and experiencing snorkeling in unexplored waters, and visitors can also hike through granite hills and mountain bikes. Cross lava fields and track migratory birds.
