LG Electronics is launching the afforestation initiative in partnership with the Shaker Group to support the environmental goals of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as part of its corporate social responsibility initiative
LG Saudi Arabia, in cooperation with the Shaker Group, launched the #SaudiGreenInitiative tree-planting initiative as part of its corporate social responsibility initiative on Sunday, March 19, at Thadiq Park, where 60 volunteers from LG and Shaker Group employees participated in planting 500 trees. The initiative seeks to plant two million trees by 2030 in line with the Kingdom's environmental goals, and comes in conjunction with LG's "Yalla Green" campaign, which promotes LG air conditioners as one of the most efficient solutions in saving energy, preserving the environment and reducing emissions. Carbon, the initiative also aims to raise awareness of the importance of energy conservation and the promotion of environmentally friendly practices.

The Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) was introduced by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) as its latest mandatory requirement, in line with the goal of the Saudi Energy Efficiency Center (SEEC) to conserve the natural resources of Saudi Arabia and enhance the economic and social well-being of the Saudi population. The SEER rating on products helps consumers measure the level of green energy used in home appliances and their impact on the environment.
LG's air conditioning products carry a "green" rating on the Energy Efficiency Label, which is one of the highest ratings in the energy efficiency rating. The higher the rating, the lower the energy consumption.
