The World Bank expects global economic growth to slow down by 2.2% by 2030.
According to a recent report by the World Bank, this decline in growth includes the most developed, developing and emerging countries alike.
The bank attributed its negative expectations to the consequences of the Corona pandemic and its impact on the education of children and adolescents and the economy in the long term, in addition to the impact of the Russian-Ukrainian war and the disruptions of international trade.
The report added that developing economies will record a sharp decline in economic growth by the same amount, from 6% annually between 2000 and 2010 to 4% annually during the remainder of this decade.
The World Bank expected that this decline would be more severe in the event of a global financial crisis or economic recession.
